Location: Leatherhead, Surrey
Salary: £37,338 – £44,962 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours FTE (Part-time hours also available)

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech and Language Therapist ( Band 7 ) to join a modern, purpose-built 48-bed Neuro Rehabilitation Centre in Leatherhead, Surrey. This outstanding facility supports individuals recovering from acquired brain injuries, strokes, incomplete spinal injuries, and other neurological conditions-delivering bespoke therapy programmes within a 24-hour nursing care environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a senior member of the SLT team, you will take a lead role in delivering and developing specialist communication and swallowing therapy services for adults with complex neurological needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and delivering individual and group-based neurorehabilitation programmes

• Conducting specialist assessments for speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties

• Providing high-quality therapy to both inpatients and outpatients

• Taking the lead in the development and growth of the SLT service

• Advising clients, families, and staff on safe dysphagia management

• Contributing to service innovation through reflective practice and evidence-based care

We’re looking for a committed and compassionate therapist who brings a high standard of clinical expertise and leadership. You’ll need:

• Qualifications: Degree or diploma in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration

• Professional Membership: Registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)

• Experience: Proven experience in neurorehabilitation and working with clients with complex neurological needs
